- No kidding, why on earth should we abandon our system? A500 systems
- with only one disk drive has its own purpose I'll bet, but if a user like it,
- let it be used, I just have not seen any significant software (IMHO) that will
- run in a base A500. Never.

- Agree. Definitely, unless my A4000 burns out on me, the rest of my
- Amigas are inconsequential.

- Nothing that complicated here, but if PPC does come out and the
- EMPLANT and Toaster is ported to it, then I would buy it and use the existing
- systems as emergency backups. There is absolutely no reason for me to change
- my systems or to upgrade them while it is still more than sufficient, and
- especially when there are virtually no difference between older systems and
- the new ESCOM does not offer any advantage(s) other than one additional Zorro
- slot.
